Here is just a quick preview of what I have been  doing these cold winter days.

I have designed a collection of Cell Phone Purses.

They are all made from Vintage Grain Sacks, fully lined, and have a
long cross body strap.

I will be showing the entire collection on my facebook page and on my
Etsy shop by the end of next week.

Stay tuned for more photos.

Spring is not quite here yet

Hoping for spring but still dealing with "old man winter".

Today is a cold and windy day here in the Northeast.
Waiting for snow to arrive later today, hopefully for the last
time this year!!!
I am glad I got out last week and did some Antique shopping.  Mostly small things,
but lots of sewing items.  Skeins and balls of cotton, buttons and lace trims
in shade of Winter White.

The one glimpse of Spring is the Robins Egg Blue color
on the Cards of Buttons I put together in this
Wicker Box of Notions.
I Love the Graphics on the old button cards.

I decided to fill some Mason Jars with Skeins and Balls of Cotton
to list on my Etsy shop.  Along with some other finds.

This Drawer is Wonderful

Don't you love old wooden spools?

Welcome Spring

It has been way too long since my last blog.  The Holidays and Winter

just got the best of me.

It is now time to think SPRING.

As always my color palette is white and neutrals, as you will see in these photos.

I've started with adding some of my latest finds to my favorite corner cupboard, as well as some of my handcrafted items, which are listed on my Etsy shop.

My favorite new find is the cloche with the vintage thread.  This may or may not be for sale in the near future.

You may have guessed that I love sewing items ~ Especially old linens and lace.

I made this Dress Form Pin Cushion ~ which is one of several on my Etsy.

Pearls and Lace just go with anything.

I'm moving on now to get working on my Etsy Shop.  I'm glad you had
Time to stop by to visit.

As always, please visit my favorite Blog ~ Timewashed

Well I finally have some things
listed on Etsy

I don't know why I decided to tackle
A New Blog
Christmas Decorating
and getting my
Etsy Shop going at
the same time but that is what I am doing

I made several Dress Form Pin Cushions
this summer, with the design help
of my 11 year old Granddaughter

I sold several at craft shows and will be
listing the rest on Etsy
along with my Shadow Boxes
and framed Santas

I hope everyone has a great Wednesday
and don't forget to check out

Still Decorating for Christmas

I'm not sure how long my
Christmas Decorating
will take

Here are a few photos of the work in progress.
This is my Living Room from a Distance.

As you can see, it is not All White.
My Corner Cupboard is, but
my Santa Collection includes Reds.

I had planned to decorate the Mantel
in all White too, and went in search of
a large Snow Scene to hang above it.
When I saw this mirror it
  just called my name.
So Black and White became the theme for this area

Of course Silver, White and Greens
were the
perfect accents.

This is as far as I have gotten so far.

You will also notice that there is no
Christmas Tree in this room.
Just this small one next to the mantel.

Murphy will not leave this little one alone,
so who knows what he would do with a
full size tree.
His is just too cute, but such a
"bad boy".

Thanks for checking out what I have done so far.
More photos to follow in the coming days.

My First Blog

Good morning and welcome to my first blog.

I'm just a little bit nervous about this after seeing
so many amazing blogs.

I love County Cottage Decor and anything White.

I will be posting photos of vignettes
in my home.

I love rearranging things with the seasons,
but it all comes back to
white.

I have a small corner cupboard in my living room
which was made several years ago
by a local cabinetmaker.

Of Course it is White.

When I managed an Antique/Consignment shop
a few years ago.
I decided to use it in the shop.

It made a beautiful display piece for
Baby things new and old.

Unfortunately we had a fire and my
beautiful cabinet was damaged.

The contents were totally lost.

After many months I decided it was time to revive it
and get it back into my living room.

My husband sanded it down to the bare wood
and I painted it white,
dry brushing the inside for a more shabby look.
